Monitoring HVAC fresh air intakes is a critical safety measure in facilities with occupied buildings.
Detecting low concentrations of hydrocarbons in high-velocity airflow environments requires rapid and reliable detection performance, especially where contaminated air can quickly travel through ventilation systems.
The GD10PE was developed for these demanding conditions. Its extended measuring chamber makes it uniquely suited to monitoring large HVAC air intakes, enabling fast and reliable detection of low hydrocarbon concentrations in high airflow applications.
With a T90 response time of just 1.1 seconds, the GD10PE is designed for applications where rapid detection is critical.
The GD10PE is also designed for gas turbine ventilation exhausts, often the only location where a gas leak on a turbine package can be reliably detected.
With a detection range of 0-10,000 ppm CH₄, it is up to five times more sensitive than conventional point detectors.
Combined with solid-state infrared technology and a stable optical design, the GD10PE provides long-term performance while helping minimize maintenance and service requirements.
